Double N Services deep-cleans tile and grout in kitchens, bathrooms and entryways across Marietta and Metro Atlanta, using eco-friendly products that are safe around children and pets. Where grout is cracked or missing, we re-grout it.

Grout is porous. Every mop pass pushes a little dirty water into it, and after a few years the lines go from light to gray to almost black. Mopping can’t reverse that. The soil has to be broken down and extracted out of the grout lines, which is what a professional clean does.

Can dirty grout really be cleaned, or does it need replacing?

Most dark grout is dirty, not damaged. Professional cleaning usually brings it back close to its original color.

If the grout is cracked, crumbling or missing, cleaning won’t fix that; re-grouting will. We’ll tell you which your floor needs.

Why does grout get so dark?

Grout is porous, so it soaks up dirt, grease and mopping water; regular mops push soil into the grout lines instead of lifting it out.

That’s why mopping alone never gets it back. The dirt has to be extracted.

Is your tile and grout cleaning safe for pets and kids?

Yes. We use eco-friendly cleaning products chosen to be safe around children and pets.

Do you re-grout tile?

Yes. When cleaning isn’t enough, we remove damaged grout and re-grout the floor.
